Hello Everyone, On March 15, 2020, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommended that all gatherings and events larger than 50 people be canceled for the next eight weeks. In accordance with this recommendation, we will be canceling the 2020 St. Luke’s Half Marathon, 5k, Youth Run and Family Fun Walk which is scheduled to take place over the weekend of April 25-26, 2020. With an event our size, we are simply unable to practice the proper safe social distancing to keep COVID-19 coronavirus at bay. All of this year’s registrants will receive a coupon code for our 2021 event once registration for that event is open. This coupon code will be good for 100% off your registration fee. ‘Tis the time of year when the hustle and bustle of the season can be overwhelming. We want to wish you all a joyous holiday season. We have a lot of activities going on this month – Our Ice Scraper Series kicks off on December 8th here in the Parkway. We then have over 40 club members racing at the USATF Club XC Championships held at Lehigh University on December 14th. We hope that you will come show your support. As always, we hope to keep the momentum of fitness going with our weekly group runs. Escape the winter blues by meeting up with others to get your miles done.
